What is the PEA?

Pleasant Education Academy (PEA) is an innovative alternative to the traditional learning experience.  This on-site “hybrid” school offers a blend of online curriculum and face-to-face instruction, all of which aligns to ODE standards and provides a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Flexible Education

  • At Pleasant Education Academy, students design their education by choosing the progress speed, classes, and schedule that fits their specific learning needs and lifestyle.  PEA offers both credit recovery and accelerated programs to meet the varying needs of high school students.
  • Students utilize computers and other technologies to complete their course plan, while receiving individualized attention and support from highly qualified teachers who are certified in their subject areas.
  • Parents and families are an important element to the educational experience; therefore, PEA also provides social services support to assist in preventing and reducing “barriers” to student learning and teaching.
  • Upon graduation, PEA students receive an official diploma that is accepted by colleges and universities across the country, as well as the military.
